Set the vibe for your Christmas gathering with this Cranberry Bourbon Bullet. Just four simple ingredients to get the party started.
Cranberry Bourbon Bullet
I love making up cocktails at home. Even though I have no bar experience, I’ve worked in a lot of restaurants and paid attention to liquor pairings. Cranberry and citrus really mellow out the bourbon, but you still taste a tiny bite of it in this drink. There’s a bit of a smoky taste too from the burning of the rosemary. We tried the drink without burning the rosemary and it felt like it was missing something, so don’t skip this!

Cranberry Bourbon Bullet
Equipment
- Shot Glass
- 32 Ounce Large Mason Jar
Ingredients
- Rosemary
- 2 oz Bourbon I used Wild Turkey
- 2 oz Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice, plus extra slices for garnish
- 2 oz Unsweetened Cranberry Juice NOT Cranberry Juice Cocktail
- 2 tsp Maple Syrup
Instructions
- Take the glass you're serving the drink in and turn it upside down. Set aside. Take a lighter and run the rosemary through the flame, until the rosemary starts smoking. Take the smoky rosemary and place it under the glass, so the smoke infuses the glass.
- In the mason jar add the bourbon, orange juice, cranberry juice and maple syrup. Top the jar tightly and shake vigorously for about a minute.
- Pick up the glass and add ice. Pour the mix over the ice and serve. Add an orange slice for garnish and enjoy!
